About Us

Darcel joined RM Financial Services in 2000 shortly after incorporation. With more than 20 years taxation experience she is a graduate from the University of Southern Queensland and is a qualified accountant and Registered Tax Agent. She is our leading specialist in individual and small business taxation and our in house taxation software specialist and Xero Certified Advisor. Outside of work Darcel enjoys travelling and being outdoors with her family, especially when it involves a step class.

Robert was a founding member of RM Financial Services in 1997. He has a bachelors degree in Commerce & Administration, a masters degree in Engineering Asset Management and is a Chartered Accountant. He has worked in a number of large corporations in financial and analytical roles both in New Zealand and Australia. He is our resident specialist in company taxation, superannuation and compliance. Outside the office Robert is involved with doing voluntary work with his church or fine-tuning his skills on the golf course. Since retiring in February 2024, Robert remains involved in a support role.

Jacob graduated from Western Sydney University (WSU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Commerce, he later completed his studies to attain his Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting. Jacob started his accounting career at RM Financial Services in 2011 on a part time basis whilst studying at WSU, and has since worked in various corporate, management and financial accounting roles across Sydney, before joining the team full time in August 2021. His current role entails working with small business clients, individuals and will be leading the organisation into NDIS Plan Management Services. When not at work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife and four children – when the rugby season is over that is.
